There is never a dull moment with us.Group/DivisionThe Global Service Support Organization (GSS) team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support. The GSS organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. These monitor the performance of fleets of KLA equipment in semiconductor fabrication plant environments. They collect, transform, and store data. They provide visualizations, recommendations based on analytics, and alerts. This position offers outstanding opportunities to interact with a wide variety of engineers and KLA system health data, and shape the future of KLA data analytics!ResponsibilitiesWork with team members during software product life cycle to ensure test requirements are understood, documented and considered in the software designCreate and drive test protocols for a diverse set of equipment input data including developing and using automated scripts wherever possibleWork with software, hardware, service, applications, and marketing groups as neededReport bugs found during execution, assist with reproduction and debugs to understand root cause, verify bug fixes provided by the development team, raise if not fixedBasic QualificationsExperience testing applications written in languages such as C, Python, and JavaScriptStrong communication skills (written and verbal)Ability to craft and execute effective acceptance tests including functionality performance and usability verificationAbility to develop and update automated test scripts/programs - Experience with Automation tools such as CypressAbility to make clear and concise descriptions of identified quality issues and steps to reproduce themExperience work with a defect/feature tracking system such as Azure DevOps, JIRAExperience with CI/CD PipelinesMotivated to learn new skills independentlyCreativity in solving problemsDesired:Experience with any of the following technical areas is helpful:Developing and executing effective software test plans for an application that has shipped to a customer and/or run in productionSoftware configuration control management experienceProject planning and task estimationBasics of statistics, data analytics, and machine learningSemiconductor fabrication and associated metrologyMinimum QualificationsDoctorate (Academic) or work experience of 0 years , Master''s Level Degree or work experience of 2 years , Bachelor''s Level Degree or work experience of 3 yearsCOVID-19 Vaccination Requirement: Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination is required where permitted by law.
