Material Handler and Inventory Cycle Counter

Express is looking for a Material Handler. The job is full time, first shift and entails loading and unloading less-than-truckload trailers, moving inventory in and out of storage locations including taking various types and sizes of sheet material from storage to fabrication, and performing cycle counts of inventory for accuracy.Pay rate: $15-17/hr. based on experience.7am - 3:45pmJob ResponsibilitiesLocate and use material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and effective manner to pull material for shipments and scheduled fabrication jobs as well as unload and store incoming material receipts.Return materials to the proper warehouse storage location after fabrication job completion.Keep materials organized and properly labeled for efficient identification.Perform daily cycle counts based on the instructions of the Operations Manager and record results to ensure accuracy of the inventory.Research and help resolve inventory discrepancies identified during the cycle counts.Maintain production and quality standards.Minimum RequirementsHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED).Shop and/or industrial experience preferred.Ability to read, write and follow verbal and written instructions in English.Must possess basic math skills.Must be able to read a tape measure.Must have experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks.Must have no lifting restrictions.Basic computer skills are a plus.RequiredPreferredJob IndustriesWarehouse & Production
