We are looking for capable, innovative, and enthusiastic achievers to join our team and grow with us. We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Manager for our site in Charleston, TN. What you will do: The Quality Assurance Manager position is responsible for quality assurance at the Charleston, TN Polysilicon plant. This position is responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving quality systems, coaching, leading, and influencing the Charleston quality culture to consistently deliver the highest quality product to our customers. Managerial Duties Lead workgroups to solve quality problems Lead the quality team Serve as the primary owner of Charleston quality systems and programs Key member on the Polysilicon leadership team Specialized Duties Represent the Charleston site during customer visits Lead and/or participate in corporate and business level quality initiatives Partner with commercial teams and customers to achieve the best solutions Manage and lead customer complaint processes Perform system analyses, institute, and monitor quality indicators Participate in the prevention and remedy of quality problems through technical contributions and management/moderation of the respective problem-solving team Review the effectiveness of corrective measures Assist in audits (customer audits, ISO audits) Establish leading and lagging quality KPIs What we need from you: Bachelors degree is required; Bachelors degree in a technical field and Six Sigma Black Belt certification is preferred 10+ years of quality related experience in a manufacturing environment Mastery of team leadership abilities Ability to work independently Pervious management experience in quality assurance Extensive knowledge and experience using quality systems and tools Knowledge of analytical processes Knowledge of statistics Mastery of verbal and written communication Experience in the semi-conductor industry is preferred Life at Wacker: Wacker is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
