Machine Operator - Robotic Welder

A Weld Operator is needed for Colson Group USA in Jonesboro, Arkansas. The Manual Weld Operator will work as a member of a team that carries out metal shaping and welding tasks in accordance with spoken or written instructions.**Essential Functions: **Will operate robotic welders in a production situation.Will set-up tooling, program, or amend programs as necessary, and operate welders to produce component parts. Will inspect to ensure print plete all required documentation pertaining to manufacturing reports and parts identification.Will operate forklift as required.Qualifications:Education High school or equivalent.- Must be able to read and write at acceptable level.Physical- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time. Bending, stooping, pushing and pulling are required.Able to lift 50 lbs. Reading accurately and writing legibly is mandatory.Basic math skills are a must.Must be able to read and interpret blueprints. Programming GMAW (mig) welders and/or computer skills are a plus, but must be able to learn all programming of robots.Experience Previous welding experience is a plus. Good motor skills necessary.
