Our client is in immediate need for a talented Desktop Support Engineer ; with experience in the IT Industry. This is a 12 Months contract opportunity with possible extension and is located in Omaha, NE, 68154 . Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested. ** This requirement is a 100% onsite job ** Required Skills: More than 2 years of experience in Desktop Support Knowledge of Windows 7 through Windows 10 and the ability to install integrate and support these operating systems. Be able to install, maintain and troubleshoot MS Office Applications. Install VDI client software remotely or on desk of end users. Strong understanding of internetworking concepts; File shares, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS. Strong knowledge of client/server computing. Knowledge on Interconnecting computer and peripherals (e.g Monitor, Printers, Scanners). Experience in backup and restore of user profiles settings such as Favorites, Documents, network drives and other preferences. Understanding of Remote Desktop Protocol. Experience on End User Computing Projects. Experience in working on Windows OS Upgrade projects. Experienced on providing hand and feet support for end user Hardware refresh projects.
