In addition, we possess the expertise and knowledge of a management and leadership team experienced at operating and growing successful businesses.As we continue to grow, we welcome innovative, hard-working, quality people who want to make a difference and be part of the MKD family.Summary:Our project managers take on a high level of responsibility within our business; their primary duty includes the exercise of discretion and independent judgement with respect to matters of significance to Powercor. The project manager is responsible for leading a team of professionals in completing BMS & EPMS controls projects within the set project schedule to uphold business initiatives. Their duties include dividing up their budget for different project aspects and advocating for additional funding when necessary, performing monthly project revenue projections, tracking cost and setting or adjusting project schedules to adhere to customer deadlines. What you will do:Sales activities including estimating and quoting work, submitting proposals, liaising with customers, and negotiating contracts and change ordersProject accounting including setting up projects in Spectrum, planning budgets for work, processing purchase orders and change orders, projecting costs, and maintaining our Salesforce databaseSupervising groups of Powercor employees by scheduling and overseeing labor resources, evaluating employee performance, apportioning work among employees, as well as interviewing, selecting, and training employeesOrdering material and managing subcontractors as neededOversee multiple jobs simultaneouslyManages resources and technical staff to complete work using acceptable methods of planning and managementOversees planning, budget preparation, expenditure controls, revenue tracking, and reporting for all projectsSupport the development, implementation, and management of key sales opportunity within the Building Automation services.Oversee and complete monthly financial projectionsParticipate in weekly sales meeting and project management meetingsWhat you will need to succeed:BS/BA from a four-year college or technical school in the field of management, engineering or similar preferred7-10 years of progressively responsible experience in the field of management and ControlsAbility to read and interpret electrical schematic drawings and one-line diagramsAbility to read and interpret P&ID drawings.Preferred at least 1-2 years working experience on a Data Center project.Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.Knowledge of the PLC programs and languageKnowledge of Instrumentation.Experience with Tridium/Niagara and Ignition systemsExperience working and managing complex building automation/controls projectsHVAC experience associated with BMS systemsWhat you can expect in return:Full-Time Salary PositionTuition ReimbursementMedical, Dental, and Vision benefits401K with company matchAccess to opportunities to expand your skill set and share your knowledge with others across the organizationCompany culture of promotions from within, with a start-up atmosphere allowing for varied and rapid career growth & developmentThis role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.MKD Electric is an equal employment opportunity employer.
