Droplette is hiring a Sr. Manager, Global Supply Chain to rapidly scale Droplette''s supply chain and be a key contributor supporting the entire product life cycle, from New Product Introduction (NPI) through volume production. This role will focus on effective materials planning & strategic sourcing with additional involvement in purchasing and logistics. What You''ll Do: Manage all aspects of Droplette''s supply chain including sourcing, vendor relations, planning and logistics. Interview, hire, scale, and coach the supply chain team. Spearhead and execute contract manufacturing operations (order management, delivery, material planning, RMAs) through external manufacturing partners and component suppliers, as required, to ensure supply continuity. Develop and execute processes that enable a reliable, cost effective and flexible contract manufacturing (CM) supply chain network, including sub-tier suppliers. Lead global sourcing strategies for all electronic components working with OEMs and electronics distributors in concert with Contract Manufacturing partners. Mitigate material shortages based on production schedule requirements while minimizing excess & obsolete material (E&O) and unfavorable cost variances (PPV). Participate in demand forecasting and supply planning to ensure resource requirements are met promptly. Drive the creation and release of rolling forecasts to inform CM production schedules and capacity planning needs. Identify potential suppliers to ensure continuity of supply while taking into account supplier capabilities, cost, and quality. Lead alternate procurement sourcing such as part brokering and other spot buy functions to ensure supply while reducing PPV. Coordinate external sources, suppliers and contract manufacturers to effectively support continuity of supply. Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to support production. Develop efficient and accurate mechanisms to monitor and update open purchase orders, expedites, delivery requirements Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure cost effective, on time deliveries that meet our customer and supply chain demands. Develop and drive multiple project schedules, ensuring high quality delivery of projects Manage a small team of engineers on projects that deep dive into core technologies. What We Seek: Bachelor''s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field. 5 years of experience in global electronics manufacturing procurement or supply chain management, including experience managing outsourced manufacturing. Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) industry experience required. Experience procuring custom materials and COTS for electronic assemblies, electromechanical parts, and PCB components. Experience working with domestic and international suppliers and contract manufacturers in Asia. Experience managing material supply and inventory levels. Experience utilizing ERP systems, supply chain/operations practices, and accounting principles. Experience managing a team. A detail-oriented individual capable of working cross-functionally across departments and locations to meet business objectives. Proactive and able to learn quickly in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Able to handle multiple priorities with freedom. Advanced proficiency in data evaluation and reporting utilizing Microsoft Office and Google Workplace. Ability to work on your own and asynchronously in a fast paced environment.
