Required to perform essential functions and meet service standards, Best Practices, and Risk Management Quality Control standards developed by USI. Responsibilities:Resource in coordinating the service for existing clients through rating, quoting, mail processing and management of the electronic client fileRespond to internal servicer requests for information, documents, and general inquiries for summaries of Insurance and Renewal ProposalsProduce and monitor various monthly reports to ensure all policies have been renewed in a timely manner as requested by management Assist managers with special projects, as neededMaintain client files accurately and consistently; responsible for proper documentation of files and proper communication to all in accordance with company workflows, procedures and best practicesMaintain a high degree of accuracy in agency management and document management systemsWork within USI Personal Lines Initiatives to quote with carriers that offer download, service centers and downloadMaintain good relationships with markets through fair and consistent treatmentManage or assist in book transfersPerform underwriting review and maintain consistent and accurate coding for new business clients and policiesKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:1-3 years experience in Personal Lines InsuranceHigh School GraduateCollege degree preferred, but not requiredStrong written, oral and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to carry out tasks with many concrete and abstract variablesMust be comfortable with internet-based programs as well as intermediate knowledge of Microsoft office productsKnowledge of Sagitta/WorkSmart preferred, but not required.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of accuracySet priorities and manages workflow to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing of transactions and other responsibilitiesMaintain a cordial and effective relationship with clients, co-workers, carriers, vendors and other business contactsAbility to work in a team environmentInteract with others effectively by utilizing good communication skills, cooperating purposefully and providing information and guidance, as needed, to achieve the business goals of the companyPhysical Demands:Work is performed in a climate-controlled office environment with minimal noise and limited to no exposure to chemicals or toxins. Employees operate office equipment including a telephone/headset, computer, computer monitors, keyboard, mouse, copier, scanner and mail machine.
