Seeking a .NET developer with demonstrated experience designing and creating enterprise-wide web applications for on-site position at federal government site. Job Responsibilities include:* Upgrade and optimize existing web applications to enhance customer experience and overall operability using .Net MVC architecture and SQL Server.* Demonstrate strong skills in both front- and back-end application development.* Develop software solutions by eliciting, developing, and analyzing user requirements.* Schedule, prepare and install solution packages into multiple environments.* Work independently and within a team of developers, DBAs and analysts to deliver technical services and products aligned to business objectives.* Support and maintain current and legacy SharePoint implementations and related user bases.* Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.* Create and deliver effective written and verbal explanations and documentation for project and agency stakeholders.* Demonstrate a clear understanding of, and ability to follow the software development lifecycle (both Waterfall and Agile approaches).* Improve operations by conducting systems analysis in collaboration with the client and team members, and recommending changes in policies and procedures. Success Factors include:* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.* Adherence to government and business policies a must.* Effective communication between users, developers, and federal government management teams.* Understanding how to operate in both linear and matrixed environments as a contractor on a federal government work site.* Willingness to engage in continuous learning to maintain skill set in order to provide technical solutions to emerging challenges Required Skills and Experience:* Minimum Fifteen (15) years'' general work experience* Minimum eight (8) years'' information technology experience * Experience developing in .NET framework and Visual Studio leveraging CSS, HTML, JavaScript, Bootstrap, C, and Microsoft SQL.* Creating webpages and forms in the Windows environment* Experience using change management and versioning software for source-code control (examples: MS Team Foundation Server, SourceSafe, Git). Education Requirements:* A Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related discipline. * Two (2) years of additional IT experience may be substituted for each year of degree-level education. Preferred Skills and Experience include:* Experience developing SharePoint preferred.* Experience developing using PowerApps preferred.* Working knowledge and experience with AWS, Azure Cloud Environment, Azure DevOps, Office365 architecture and applications preferred.* Experience working on government projects a plus.
