The SPA Contracts and Procurement organization strategically supports the operating Divisions to assist in company growth and reduce contractual risk. The Sr. Contracts/ Subcontracts Administrator is responsible for leading the contract administration and subcontract administration activities related to classified programs for the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC). The right individual will have experience managing the life cycle of contracts as a prime contractor for DoD and IC contracts, from the initial proposal phase, through award and contract performance, to close out. In addition, the individual will have experience managing subcontractors, including initial subcontract development, negotiation, and award. Responsibilities * Primary contractual point of contact with the Government Contracting Officer, SPA program personnel, and subcontractor contractual points of contact on classified and non-classified contracts. * Maintain responsibility for prime contract administration, including modifications, equitable adjustments, reporting and file maintenance in a secure environment. * Develop, negotiate and administer subcontract agreements, including initial awards, modifications, equitable adjustment proposals, closeouts and file maintenance in accordance with CPSR requirements. * Ability to independently negotiate terms and conditions, scope, cost and price of government contracts and subcontracts at assigned thresholds. * Exercise a high degree of independent judgment and have autonomy for the assigned area of responsibility. Requires a significant degree of analytical ability to understand and interpret complex data and solve complex problems. * Establish and maintain excellent internal and external customer relations at all levels of the organization, acting as liaison with customers'' buying official for all proposal or contract matters. * Ensures pre and post award compliance on the supplier''s performance (cost, schedule, technical, SPA policies and procedures, and all other terms and conditions) of awarded agreements. Qualifications Required Qualifications: * 8+ years of experience in contract administration and subcontract administration with contractors supporting the DoD and IC. * Knowledge of applicable Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS). * TS/SCI security clearance or eligible to receive SCI. * Excellent written and oral communication skills are required. Desired Qualifications: * Bachelor''s degree in Business or related field is desired.
