The area is also known for itslively arts and music scene.For a storyteller, the region is a gold mine. Politicallypurple, its diverse population ranges from potato farmers to resort owners.Members of the Ho-Chunk Nation have always called the area home, and immigrantfamilies and student workers regularly travel from South America and EasternEurope to spend their summers working in the Wisconsin Dells.The successful candidate will be part of a two-person teamproducing news and feature stories, and shooting photos and videos , serving south-central Wisconsin, and its related print products:The Juneau County Star-Times, the Wisconsin Dells Events, the Baraboo NewsRepublic, the Portage Daily Register and the Beaver Dam Daily Citizen. Storiesmay also appear in the Wisconsin State Journal in Madison.One to two years'' experience in journalism, either inschool, internships or on the job, is preferred.
