As a Regional Warehouse Manager, you will oversee and lead all warehouse operations within the branch''s distribution network including managing staffing, equipment requirements, incentive programs, and inventory at each location. That''s year one. If career growth is important to you, we not only know how to help you with that, it''s what we love to do: YOU''LL BE DOING (of Time)Develop and manage meaningful key performance indicators to enhance the effectiveness of the department, and create plans for improvement based on priority. (40%)Provide leadership for managers/supervisors of individual warehouse locations while assisting with hiring, training, directing, disciplining and counseling employees. (30%)Oversee daily warehouse operations, review daily performance and address issues as required. (20%)Lead physical inventory and audits throughout the year. (5%)Responsible for startup of new warehouse facilities and planning expansions and additional storage racks (5%)DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEIf you can do everything listed above, you''ve got what it takes. Perhaps some of the following would be helpful too:A Bachelor''s degree in business management or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.5+ years experience in warehouse and logistics management required • Safety: Consistently exemplify the highest of safety standards and monitor others to the same standards.Attendance: Consistently demonstrate reliable, punctual attendance • Mathematical Reasoning: Basic algebraic and geometric concepts. Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers, fractions, and decimal equivalents.Reading Comprehension: Read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and related correspondence. Able to write work procedures and instructions. Writing: Write routine reports, safety bulletins, and procedure manualsTechnical: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Simpson computer applications.Problem Solving: Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited standardization exists.Analysis/ Reasoning: Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Speaking: Effectively communicate in group settings and one-on-one, with all departments and at all levels within the organization.Leadership: Proven ability to effectively lead by motivating, coaching and mentoring team members. Proven ability to prioritize work and champion change. Willing to compassionately hold others accountable and to be held accountable.Measurements: Read a tape measure to 1/32'' tolerance and to use combination squares to measure angles to +/- 1 degreeTRAVEL REQUIRED This job requires less than 25% domestic travel.WORK STATUS & LOCATION This is a full-time, exempt position located in Stockton, CA.
