Mechanic (Pump and Motor Shop)

We are currently seeking to hire a Mechanic for our pump and motor repair shop. Responsibilities Include: Assess vehicles and/or machinery to accurately diagnose and repair issuesLiaise with clients to determine their requirements and communicate defects or problemsProvide routine inspections of equipment and inform clients of any issuesPrepare quotes and work estimates as requestedKeep an accurate log of all work performedMaintain and clean garage equipment and tools to ensure they are kept in a safe and usable condition at all timesAdhere to company work safety policiesOperating sand blasterUsing power tools to clean metal surfaces.Assisting technicians with product assembly.Other instructions as needed Necessary QualificationsAbility to work independently and in a team settingBasic knowledge regarding use of a pcCompetent with the use of electrical test equipment, i.e. Multi meter, shop tools, hand tools, pneumatic tools, hoists, etcMechanical aptitude requiredPhysical RequirementsAbility to Stand for 8 HoursAbility to lift 50 poundsAbility to work on elevated platformsAbility to climb laddersThis role is Monday to Friday.
