You will identify and close gaps in remaining work packages by performing field walkdowns, including completion of inspections and solving constructability issues in the field. You will perform asset inspection walkdowns and sign off inspection records. You will have the opportunity to work on a state-of-the-art project with overtime pay and per diem. Your Key ResponsibilitiesReport to a Team Lead and work with other Field Engineers to assist in addressing open issues, closing gaps, and driving the work packages to the next step in the process. Resolve work package issues (I.e., constraints, open engineering items, etc.) to keep work packages moving through the process. Generate engineering service requests, if applicable, directly from the work packages. Own and champion to closure any engineering service requests generated from work packages. Function as point of contact and interface between Field Engineers and Design. Provide engineering knowledge and understanding to answer or help research questions. Document conditions adverse to quality. Adhere to all safety rules and PPE requirements. Promptly communicate any immediate hazards encountered. Adhere to all COVID rules and precautions Maintain a questioning attitude Maintain detailed and complete records/documentation Provide daily feedback to update metrics that track progress, performance, and proficiency Coordination with equipment vendors, clients and rest of the design disciplinesAttending meetings with internal and external stakeholdersPerforming QA/QC and peer review on Construction and Review packagesPlan, organize and manage the day to day activities of the project from inception through engineering, construction, commissioning and record drawing process.Provide status reports on the progress of the project(s) to the clientCoordinate with construction and responding to Request for Information (RFI)Ability to work closely with Senior Engineer/Leads to meet project timelines, understand client specific requirements (standards & specifications) and applicable codes & regulations for preparing physical electrical packagesCapable of reviewing equipment specifications and vendor drawings
