HVAC Technician

Job DescriptionTechnician will have the ability to lead other service technicians, design solutions for difficult problems, able to manage outside contractors, be on call for emergencies, ability to handle multiple projects and daily activities, and meet time lines. Develop plans on how to accomplish departmental and distribution goals. The candidate must have at least 5 years working in Facility maintenance• A good working knowledge of energy management systems. • The ability to troubleshoot HVAC and other mechanical systems and components. • Experience with both pneumatic and DDC control systems. • Experience maintaining and repairing a variety of HVAC equipment. • The knowledge of, and ability to, maintain plumbing systems. • The ability to work with hand tools. • The ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics. • The ability to climb ladders and work safely, upon them. • The ability to lift 70 Lbs. • A good working knowledge of computers and common software, i.e., Microsoft Excel and Word. • Strong oral and written communication skills. • Have the ability to work 8 hour shifts and the flexibility to adapt to variable shift hours, including possible weekends and nights, as needed by the company. • The ability to work independently, as well as, within a team environment. • A current, valid driver''s license. • CFC Certification.
