This position will work from 11pm -7am Thursday through Saturday (24 hours a week). The Radisson Hotel Nashville is seeking enthusiastic and service-minded individuals for the position of Night Auditor. Previous hospitality is a prerequisite for consideration. Professionalism, enthusiasm for working with guests and fellow staff and a team-oriented attitude are required. A desire to learn and grow within the field of hospitality will be rewarded in a position with the Radisson Hotel Nashville, a 3-Star, 3-Diamond, hotel located less than two miles from the Nashville International Airport.Responsibilities include running financial reports and balancing guest accounts to include the following but not limited to: -Ensuring accurate and timely recording and reporting of all property receipts -Following cash handling procedures as outlined by the accounting department -Collecting payment at check out and provides change for guests as needed -Performing all end of day front desk and night audit functions, including reviewing cashier audits for accuracy, balancing credit card postings to computer system, maintaining computer database integrity daily, and auditing of master bills -Preparing all computer systems for the following day -Ensuring accurate and timely backup of files / tapes are maintained on a daily basis -Preparing, balances, posts, and distributing all necessary reports on a daily basis -Interacting with staff and guests in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information -Working with all Front of House colleagues in achieving continuous, seamless service -Performing other duties required to provide the service brand behavior and genuine hospitality -Greets guest and processes hotel registration and other transactions -Keeps current on hotel accommodations, services and local attractions -Handles all guest compliments, comments, observations and challenges in a timely manner to effectively achieve full guest satisfaction -Works with other departments as appropriate to arrange for services requested by the guest -Stays current with developments in the hotel by reviewing and updating the communication log -Prepares end of shift summaries and communications for management and other shifts -Makes reservations in accordance with hotel''s yield management practices -May be responsible for answering and fielding all calls to the hotel, both internal and external -Identifies and records special billing instructions and notifies Accounting -Obtains appropriate approvals and signatures for guest transactions -Maintains confidentiality of guest informationCreates 100% guest satisfaction by providing the Radisson experience through performance that demonstrates the standards of, genuine hospitality and exceeding guest expectations. -Gives personal attention, takes personal responsibility and uses teamwork when providing guest service and experience -Listens, apologizes with empathy, finds a solution and follows through when resolving guest problems -Provides Yes I Can! genuine hospitality and teamwork on an ongoing basis -Assumes the responsibility to notice when the guest is not satisfied and uses their best judgment as to when it is appropriate to use the 100% Guest Satisfaction -Performs other duties required to provide the service brand behavior and genuine hospitalityIn addition to a CV or resume, please provide a short description of why you wish to work in the field of Guest Services and what qualities you feel you can provide.
