IT Operations Manager

IT Operations Manager - the IT operations manager will report directly to the CIO and assist with the day-to-day management of the department. We are looking for an experienced and motivated information technology manager who will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring that computing systems and equipment are operating effectively and efficiently. To be successful in this position you will demonstrate a detailed knowledge of the industry''s best practices and evidence a professional track record of effective technical management, information analysis, and a thorough understanding of computer hardware and software systems. This position participates in the after-hours and weekendhelpdeskon call rotation. Some travel will be required.Responsibilities:• Manage and direct the operation of the Help Desk Staff• Train employees on both software and hardware, troubleshoot, and provide technical support when needed• Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware• Manage and maintain telecommunications and cell phone systems and vendors• Track and maintain hardware and software inventory• Coordinating technology installations, upgrades, and maintenance.
