The role requires knowledge of the current solutions in the Digital, Acquisitions, Creative and AdTech ecosystem, a strong background in building and working with a variety of websites, ad platforms, Analytics platforms and marketing technologies. The AdTech Engineer will develop and implement ad serving technology products, integrations between our analytics and ad platforms, and end-to-end tracking solutions that enable the team to execute and track digital campaigns in a strategic and efficient manner. The candidate will be an expert with HTML, CSS, Javascript, SQL, Javascript and various technologies that enable integrations, execution and evaluation of the technical ad space. The ideal candidate will have experience with integrations between multiple platforms (Adobe Audience Manager, Adobe Analytics, GA360, Google Campaign Manager, SA360, DV360, Marketo, Liveramp, etc.). The successful candidate will have a clear perspective on how to implement a tracking solution to ensure all digital activity is measured accurately across various vendors and have an advanced understanding of how lead flow works in marketing. They will demonstrate a passion for working cross functionally to build scalable solutions that enable ServiceNow to grow its digital footprint. Innovation, creativity, and a solid technical understanding of the major marketing products will be the primary tools for this role. The successful candidate will need to thrive in a constantly innovating and changing environment.What you get to do in this role:Conceptualize and implement full funnel tracking solutions for digital marketing activities with DXP Data teamWork with DXP Data team and or external vendors to implement our tracking technologies to assure our campaigns are property tracked to our KPIs and to pipelineDrive projects with our analytics, marketing operations and internal engineering teams to ensure a single source of truth for our reporting and business intelligence needsDevelop the architecture for how we track delivery campaigns into the experience and beyondWork with cutting-edge technology vendors to understand, integrate and drive the roll-out and performance evaluation of new technologies.Partner with the analytics team to give the business the most current view of core metrics and create executive dashboards to give insightful views of the business performance by channel.Run onboarding of third-party vendors with our internal DXP Data team, providing specifications and roll out plans as neededRepresent digital marketing POV in projects with DXP, BI, Marketing Operations and other teams to make sure that marketing systems, processes and integrations incorporate digital requirements.Stay current on innovations and new technology solutions to guide the evolution of our digital acquisition efforts and our ability to target our ideal audiences and expand our reach in a global scaleCreate Rich Media build processes and workflows, ensuring the tracking ties back into our larger systemsExperiment with multi-variant testing to pilot new programs and justify changes to existing workflows.Regularly surface and address potential issues or concerns, ensuring quality digital acquisition practices (includes QA of website, form fill and ad ops related inquiries).Work closely with the SEO, SEM, AM, EMAIL, Ad Ops team as well as internal partners on technical needs to execute and track the DASO businessTo be successful in this role you have:5+ years in the technical Digital Marketing spaceIn depth knowledge of Digital platforms used for Adserving, inventory buying, analytics, targeting, attribution tracking an adtech solutions in marketDeep understanding of core front end technologies: HTML, Javascript, CSS, server-side scripting principals, system architecture, and data pipelinesHands on experience working with Google Ad Suite (GCM, DV360, SA360, GA360) and integrating third party vendors like LiveRamp, Eloqua, Marketo, Tableau, etc.Expertise in conversion tracking models and floodlight tag implementationExperience in SQL, writing sophisticated queries and stored procedures (Oracle, Amazon RDS MySQL, Snowflake, Hive, etc.)Proficient in Python scripting and hands on experience using relevant Python libraries for retrieving and transforming data such as Pandas, Request, JSON, etc.Experience influencing product decisions with data.Excellent attention to detail and exceedingly organizedRepresent digital marketing perspectives in technical meetings with all stakeholdersHigh capacity for problem solving and passion for learning new and rolling out new technologiesComfort with business analytics and producing data-driven insights and reportingNice to Haves:Experience with automation and scheduling tools like Airflow is a huge plusExperience building/ maintaining data pipelines in a data mart preferably on a cloud platform such as Snowflake or AWSMarketo or MAP experience is a plus but not requiredMSFT Dynamics or CRM experience is a plus but not requiredAdobe Experience Platform experience is a plus but not requiredExperience building ETL pipelines (on cloud or on premise)ServiceNow is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
