Network Engineer with Security Clearance

As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing technical solutions for complex problems in support of the mission! Click APPLY to be contacted about this position What You Will Be Doing: * Providing technical oversight of a project solution, including requirement interpretation and allocation of requirements to technical components. * Defining processes to support the implementation of requirements. * Ensuring that technical solutions leverage industry best practices, designing for security and excellence while minimizing the total cost of ownership. * Defining internal and external customer IT infrastructure architecture needs and then designing solutions to meet those needs to include: capacity planning, systems configuration and tuning, monitoring backups, and installations of hardware and software. * Performing upgrades and routine network operations and maintenance (O&M). * Identifying and implementing INFOSEC and COMSEC security requirements for the network. Must Have: * MUST HAVE a Current and Active Top Secret SCI with Full Scope Polygraph, as the customer is NOT sponsoring clearances. * Bachelor''s Degree. * 11+ years of experience configuring, designing, maintaining, and troubleshooting LAN/WAN, VPN, SD-WAN, and VoIP devices. * Knowledge of complex configuration management techniques and requirements for managing network systems. * Thorough understanding of network routing concepts (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, IP MPLS). * Experience configuring/maintaining Cisco ASA/Firepower devices. * Basic understanding of QoS concepts. * Experience with network monitoring technologies. * Ability to take ambiguous requirements or problems and convert them into technical solutions. * Ability to partner with systems administrators, storage administrators, and application developers to solve complex problems. * Experience with complex problem management research and issue resolution. Nice to Have: * Experience with a variety of network technologies and solution architectures. * Broad understanding of technical principle, theories, and concepts in the networking field. * Knowledge of state-of-the-art systems engineering principles and network design concepts. * Virtualization experience (VDI & VMWare). * Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, etc.). * Experience with security best practices and implementing firewalls and perimeter security measures including VPN technologies. * Knowledge of continuous integration, test automation, and/or SecDevOps on iterative development projects. * Knowledge of Agile Development methodologies. * Cisco Certifications: CCNA or CCNP. * Experience configuring Cisco Identity Service Engine (Client) and Cisco Prime. * Experience configuring, designing, and troubleshooting QoS in LAN or WAN devices. * Experience configuring, designing, and troubleshooting storage network (iSCSI, Fiber channel). * Experience with designing and implementing data centers. * Experience configuring/maintaining other (non-Cisco) hardware firewall devices such as Forcepoint Sidewinder Firewall.
