We are currently searching for aProject Managerto manage robotic automation system project execution from receipt of PO through buy off and close out at our Hoffman Estates, Illinois location. Manage, direct and lead project team members including but not limited to design engineering, process engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, installation engineering and sub-contractors Responsible for profit, cash flow, on time delivery and quality Develop schedule, resource plan, procurement plan for projects ranging from custom configured standard product to large scale automated systems Forecast project financial performance Manage project changes and protect FANUC from financial risk Ability to deliver customer satisfaction is a key role in this position Ensure communication is good within the FANUC team, suppliers and customers Take action in order to ensure the project plan is followed Cost management and cash flow accuracy for improved project profitability Execution excellence through planning /control of resources (internal and external) for improved Customer satisfaction/ quality Recognizes issues and resolves in a timely manner as they occur in the course of execution Manages Customer expectations and modes of operation to complete contract scope Ideal candidate will have the following experience/skills and education: Bachelor degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing) or equivalent relevant experience Minimum five years in automation and Project/Program Management experience Experience with ERP system, Oracle preferred Ability to effectively lead and manage project personnel, sub-contractors and support groups Ability to effectively build and manage the relationship with customers across a broad spectrum of industries.
