We offer a well-defined career path to match your professional dividuals who thrive at Moss Adams exhibit the following success skills Collaboration, Critical Thinking, Emotional Intelligence, Executive Presence, Growth Mindset, Intellectual Curiosity, and Results Focus.Responsibilities:Serve as clients trusted advisor, demonstrates knowledge of industry trends, identify client issues and conflicts; proactively communicate solution options to client and teamOversee the calculation and analysis of proprietary tax strategies for clientsContinue to develop relationships with clients, including involvement in networking and business development activities Provide clients within depth industry knowledgeManage staff on engagement deliverables (such as financial statements, tax returns, work papers, etc.); complete technical and strategic reviews as a member of the final engagement review team to ensure quality control standards are met; ensure on time delivery and on budgetProvide both leadership and supervision to PCA Seniors and StaffFoster a team environment; demonstrates support of management and decisions and build a positive cultureParticipate in practice development activities that lead to the generation of new business and the opportunities for value added servicesIdentify gaps and any additional opportunities for estate, investments, insurance, charitable giving, and tax planningAssist with any ad hoc questions as they come upQualifications:Bachelors degree in accounting or related field required; Master of Tax preferred Minimum of 4 years of related experiencePrevious experience in a public accounting firm preferred Private Client Services experience preferredCPA required. If not a CPA, must meet educational requirements to obtain CPA license upon hire in state of employment Minimum of 2 years of supervising and training experienceProficient in corporate, partnership and individual taxationPrior experience working with large, multi-state, internationally active middle-market clients preferred Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational skills required for managing multiple client engagementsAble to work effectively both as part of a team and independentlyProficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% to 25%Here, youll be challenged and rewarded for leadership, technical excellence, and inspired perspectives.
