Based on leadership decisions and business needs, "all other duties as assigned" will be expected for each position. Supervises the Clinical Operations Clinician staff to ensure that productivity and quality standards are met. Assists the Clinical Operations Assistant Manager in the day-to-day management, operation, planning and implementation to ensure the Clinical Operations Department objectives are fulfilled per contractual requirements. You''ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities: Administer department policy and procedures to include: handling employee issues, monitoring PTO and overtime, timesheet approval, assisting with interviewing, oversight of new hire orientation, and monitoring deparmtenal tasks Review and update Job Decriptions, Work Instructions, SOP, and Reference Material as they apply to the Clinicians Supervise Clinician staff to ensure that productivity and quality standards are met. Analyze data to determine best utilzation of staff resources in relation to work volume and create optimal schedule therefrom Respond to customer complaints and internal operational department questions or concerns Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers Act as a resource to telecommuting staff regarding telecommute policy and standards Assist in resolving technical issues unique to the telecommuting environment Monitor Clinician calls and deliver timely feedback to staff in regards to call quality and content You''ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: Associate''s Degree, or equivalent experience 2+ years of Lead/Management experience MedNet proficiency Proficient computer skills and comprehension and the ability to communicate those to less proficient users Equivalent combination of education, experience and/or applicable military experience will be considered Preferred Qualifications: Call center experience Ability to work independently as well as on a team Excellent verbal and written communication skills including solid telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills with individuals at all levels of an organization, as well as external customers Time management and team-building skills Ability to take initiative in a goal-oriented environment To protect the health and safety of our workforce, patients and communities we serve, UnitedHealth Group and its affiliate companies require all employees to disclose COVID-19 vaccination status prior to beginning employment. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $72,800 to $129,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
