Responsibilities Serves as Supervisory Business Management Analyst, responsible for the wide variety of functions associated with the Business Management Division, DLA Installation Support at Philadelphia. Oversees development, dissemination, implementation, and integration of Installation Support program requirements, administrative and organizational programs, and process improvement initiatives. Directs/conducts cost comparison/benefit studies of current or projected programs; develops lifecycle cost analysis of projects. Performs critical program analysis and recommends alternative approaches and activities to assure schedules are met and projected implementation costs are not exceeded. Conducts studies of organizational efficiency and productivity and recommends changes or improvements in organization, staffing, work methods, and procedures. Oversees the Physical Security Program and assignments in emergency preparedness, response and recovery programs for local DLA activities and DSCP worldwide operations. Performs immediate supervisory duties of subordinates. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications To qualify for a Supervisory Business Management Analyst your resume and supporting documentation must support: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Developing cost/benefit analysis, identifying pros and cons, and making recommendations for purchasing decisions. Analyzing and evaluating methods for assessing program effectiveness, efficiency, and execution. Applying security method and policy to a variety of security situations. Making effective presentations regarding policies and decisions to a variety of individuals. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Education Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
