It''s an opportunity to do your life''s best work.(sm) Clinical Performance (CP) is charged with effectively implementing, monitoring, and executing on clinical documentation, quality, and affordability programs that promote patient health while improving the provider practice experience with a special focus on Medicare Risk Adjustment. CP processes on a national level by providing support in all markets served by OptumCare Delivery. This position will be embedded in the Retrospective Services Analytic team supporting our Care Delivery Organizations (CDOs) with overall responsibility for ad-hoc reporting, analytics, controls, and management of the data for business flows across chart review. Primary tool set includes MSSQL, Excel, and Tableau. You''ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities: Building robust processes that would allow for ROI management within the chart review program management Maintain control environment to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance of chart review data Be able to independently solve for database solutions and analytics needed in ad-hoc situations for chart review operations and understand the relational business processes Consult with team members to ensure successful execution of operational objectives in accordance with established customer SLAs and compliance requirements Creation of dashboards and operational metrics/reporting to demonstrate successful delivery of performance objectives Collaborates with operational partners to drive productivity and efficiency Critical Success Factors: Extremely creative at solving complex problems with strong analytical ability to recommend solutions Solid reporting experience in a large, complex healthcare setting Takes ownership reporting requests and deliverables Ability to manage multiple initiatives by prioritizing goals and objectives Ability to work autonomously in in ambiguous situations Ability to build strong relationships across a variety of stakeholders You''ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: 3+ years in synthesizing data and summarizing observations and findings in a reporting structure to be presented to senior management and outside clients 2+ years of hands-on SQL experience Reporting tool experience including any combination of the following: Tableau, Excel, and/or data reporting Experience in complex problem solving Experience creating and executing quality control processes Experience documenting business reporting and process requirements Proficient with MS Office (e.g., Project, Power Point, Excel, Visio, Access, Word) Preferred Qualifications: Process improvement experience Working knowledge of quality, risk adjustment and medical management with experience working in the following: RAF, Utilization Management (CM, DM, Pre-Service, Concurrent Review). Knowledge of federal (e.g., CMS) and state laws and regulations relating to Medicare Advantage. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600.
