Establish work plan and staffing requirements for multiple large-scale projects Oversees writing of scope, budget, and QAQC Identify and participate in planning and implement procedures and systems to maximize operating efficiency Review performance data (financial, budgets, sales and activity reports) to monitor and measure productivity, goal progress and activity levels Monitor and develop professional staff to maximize their potential Develop RFQs and fee proposals Work with Market Leads and Market Managers to establish plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the Texas region Develop and conduct presentations to clients and other critical stakeholders Effectively interface with sub-consultants and as well as other business relationships Provide support to other operational units as needed Represent company interests while in meetings and trade shows as needed Perform other tasks as assigned to help accomplish the Companys strategic goalsWhat You Bring to SAM 10+ years of SUE experience in a professional or management capacity Bachelors degree in related discipline/and or equivalent experience Strong TxDOT and Municipal SUE experience required Strong business acumen and business development skills required Good industry contacts and/or project portfolio documenting a successful book of business Able to successfully apply accepted ASCE standard Civil Engineering methods, practices, and procedures to provide SUE services Knowledgeable in Bentley Microstation (OpenRoads and Power GEOPAK), and AutoCAD Civil 3D Ability to meet or exceed aggressive deadlines while maintaining teamwork and collaboration with others Professional License in the State of Texas Professional Licenses in other States are a plus Utility Engineering TxDOT Precertification 18.2.1 (Subsurface Utility Engineering) Additional Utility Engineering TxDOT Precertification (Group 18) or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire are a plusOur Perks*** SIGNING BONUSES FOR ALL POSITIONS *** Hybrid work schedules for office positions Work-life balance is on us Company paid premiums for medical, dental, vision, LTD and life insurance (HSA and FSA plans available) Generous paid time off (vacation, sick, holidays and parental leave) Accrual starts immediately 401(k) program offers 100% employer match up to 4% Employee Assistance Program Your mental health is our priority Tuition reimbursement No glass ceiling!
