**Only U.S. Citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. may be considered as W2 candidates.** **Please note that all Position start dates and duration are estimates and may be reduced or lengthened based upon a client''s business needs and requirements.** Job Title: Laboratory Technician Location: Tarrytown, NY 10591 Duration: 6+ Months, potential to go permanent Schedule: Shift 1; M-F Description: • This position will be responsible for supporting a wide variety of immunoassay development projects through executing protocols on immunoassay analyzers Responsibilities • Provide support for immunoassay diagnostic product development. • Assists with routine tests following written protocols. • Must be hands-on, willing to perform laboratory experiments to execute to plan. • Assist with laboratory and equipment maintenance as well as laboratory safety. • Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate technical information both verbally and in writing is favored. • This position involves handling potentially biohazardous materials from human and animal sources. Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience • This position requires a Bachelor''''s of Science degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, or related discipline. Candidates with knowledge of immunoassay principles, with 1-2 years of industry experience in Life Sciences or Medical Devices will be preferred. Knowledge and/or experience in the field of chemiluminescence, and immunoassays and automated assays is preferred but not required.• Qualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States.
