RN Circulator - Full Time

Looking for an experienced Operating Room RN Circulator that can work in an outpatient setting. Assumes total responsibility for patient care in accordance with physician''s orders and centers policies. This position acts as an intermediary between the OR staff and the rest of the surgery center.Surgical cases include Ophthalmology and Plastics. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, able to manage last minute changes in daily schedule, and have a willingness to do what it takes to get things done. Will work closely with surgeons and willing to learn their surgical preferences.Responsibilities include:1.) Performs scrub functions including the selection and handling of instruments and supplies used during procedure.2.) Performs circulating functions including monitoring, recording and communicating patient condition, and managing overall nursing care of patient before, during, and after procedure.3.) Sets up OR, surgical instruments, and equipment that will be used during the procedure.Qualifications:1.) Graduate of accredited school of nursing; current state RN license2.) BLS and obtain ACLS Certification3.) Operating Room experienced preferred4.) Knowledge of surgical instruments and reprocessing
