Logistics Data Analyst Job Category: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Continental US What You''ll Get to Do: Support the US Navy''s Program Executive Office (PEO) Undersea Warfare Systems (UWS) In-Service Logistics Branch developing a resource management planning tool. Develop a database with user interfaces for use during the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) cycle to identify, input, and project inventory needs, financial requirements, and actuals. Contribute to USN mission of expanding Fleet readiness and capability. More About the Role: Develop a software tool in Microsoft Access/Excel or other USN IT-compatible platform that allows stakeholders to update and view projections and actuals on inventory and finances. * Design database and projection model for recording and estimating historical and future inventory quantities and financial requirements * Create intuitive user interfaces for inputting data, pulling dashboard reports, and running what-if scenarios * Leverage robust error checks and fail-safes within the tool * Integrate multiple facets of program office areas including logistics, finances, foreign military sales, production, and procurement contracts * - Interact directly with clients to gather requirements and brief progress You''ll Bring These Qualifications: * 5-15 years of experience in database development or programming or analytics * Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access * Proficient in programming language (eg VBA, Python) * Experience working with clients * Active DoD Secret Clearance These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: * Experience with NAVSEA or DoD Acquisition Program * Experience with Navy Logistics s.
