General Position Summary: Provide overall management direction on multiple small to mid-size projects. Assist in developing new business opportunities and maintaining existing client relationships. Trains and develops assigned project engineers in best practices and essential job duties. Performs all aspects of project management to provide the core leadership required to guide the project team to success. Essential Duties Include: Communication: Act as the main point of contact between the owner, architect, engineers, subcontractors and R&H project team members Build and maintain relationships with clients, architects and subcontractors to ensure an exceptional experience Identify the core goals of the owner, and ensure the project team understands them Promotes R&H policies and procedures to the highest level of ethics and professionalism Project Management: Perform all project management duties including schedule management, change management, budget management, subcontractor management, owner/architect relations, owner billings, provide monthly job forecast reports, typical project documentation, project closeout, etc. High level of problem solving abilities; anticipate, identify and resolve challenges according to the best interest of the project Is responsible, along with the superintendent, to develop and coordinate construction schedules with an understanding of site restraints and owner needs Lead project team to the common goal through collaboration, encouragement and mutual respect Manage project risk, clearly communicate and document project challenges to leadership and the project team. Have a comprehensive understanding of the contract documents, plans, specifications and construction means and methods. Safety: Actively support safety on all R&H jobsites Business Development/Preconstruction: Attend applicable industry events Maintain client/architect relationships, even after a project is complete Attend two industry networking events and/or client events and R&H networking events Follow-up on project opportunities Qualifications: Great communication skills - written and oral Attention to detail, analytical approach to problems Strategic thinking Personable and professional Collaborative, problem solver, hard working A sense to take personal responsibility of a project Able to multi-task and manage several projects that range from $100,000 to $5,000,000 5-10 years progressive experience in construction, demonstrating increased responsibility and leadership Solid understanding of construction methods and best practices, knowledgeable of all trades, including MEP systems Knowledgably of industry unit costs, trades means and methods Valid driver''s license and clean driving record requiredEducation/Experience: College degree preferred in construction/architecture/engineering or equivalent experience Construction field experience favorable Estimating experience favorable Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project), Bluebeam Revu & Viewpoint LEED AP, OSHA 10-Hour, Revit/CAD experience are favorable OSHA 10 preferred Powered by JazzHR
