Job DescriptionBard Manufacturing Company, Inc., a leader in the HVAC industry, has openings for production positions at our facility in Madison, GA.For over 100 years, Bard Manufacturing Company has been a family owned and operated company, leading the HVAC industry in light commercial, educational, and telecommunications markets. With production facilities in Ohio, Georgia and Mexico, we service our customers both nationwide and internationally by designing and manufacturing cutting-edge engineered products.Summary:Uses hand tools and small power tools to assemble metal, electrical or mechanical HVAC products in accordance with established standards by performing the following duties. Uses wiring diagrams to complete wiring on sub-assemblies. Assembly of metal, electrical or mechanical parts requiring some precision, use of hand tools. Prolonged standing at a work station for up to 10 hours per day required with limited lifting and walking needed.Duties and Responsibilities:Wires assigned product parts on assembly line in accordance with production guidelines.Performs spot checks of products to ensure adherence to approved quality standards.Notifies supervisor of product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions.Adheres to established company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations.Wears personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines.Performs other related duties as assigned.Experience and SkillsSkills: Oral Communication SkillsWritten Communication SkillsPhysical Dexterity, able to bend, stoopReading SkillsTime ManagementAbility to lift up to 15 poundsAbility to stand at work station for up to 11 hours per dayPrior assembly experience helpfulThe successful candidate will possess the following skills/abilities:High school diploma or GED is requiredPrevious manufacturing experience required.Sheet metal experience is preferred.Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
