Check out this role and join our team of talented people!SUMMARYPartner is seeking a full-time Project Engineer to support our Property Condition Assessment (PCA) practice completing and finalizing project tasks according to deadlines and within budget as assigned by the project manager. You will have the opportunity to work with diverse building infrastructures like multifamily housing, historic buildings, hospitals, restaurants, warehouses, and so much more!RESPONSIBILITIESConduct preliminary project research as applicable to scope of work (historical, regulatory, etc.), including but not limited to data compilation and site reconnaissancePreparation of high-quality supporting documents/files and technical report authoringEffectively communicate project progress and issues with the Project ManagerMaintain active communication with team members throughout the course of the project including providing report delivery instructions to the Project CoordinatorCoordinate and respond to requests for changes in project scopeDeliver appropriate progress reports (verbally or e-mail) to the ClientPlan, schedule and track project timelines and milestones to ensure project progress status is on schedule and identify and resolve any issuesUnderstand the assessment''s potential impact on the CRE transaction processKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESExcellent written and verbal communication skills (internal and external)Ability to work on projects concurrentlyProven ability to successfully deliver a quality product on timeAbility to cultivate strong relationships within a teamUnderstand concepts of building component life cycles, system condition evaluation, replacement costsProficient in Microsoft Office and ExcelFamiliar with the basic principles of civil, structural, and geotechnical engineering, including construction and maintenance of structures and systems; the Americans with Disabilities Act; Fair Housing ActQUALIFICATIONSBachelor''s Degree or Associate''s Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or an Engineering discipline.Projects involve a degree of travel.
