DirectViz Solutions is rapidly growing government contractor that provides strategic IT services that meet mission needs for government customers. We are sourcing for a Tech Controller. The work location will be Joint Base Anacostia Bolling (JBAB) in DC. This position requires a Secret clearance. Overview: Seeking experienced Tech Controllers with a military background in supporting cryptographic devices and DoD circuits. Preferred candidate will have successfully completed technical training associated with operations and maintenance of a Tech Control Facility equivalent to that required for US military AFSC 3C2X1, MOS 31P, or EC2318, Communications-Computer Systems Control Technician or the equivalent civilian training and work experience in a similar civilian or military tech control facility. Roles and Responsibilities: Tech Controller: * Monitors and controls performance of DOD Circuits/Networks * Coordinates their configuration, operation, restoration, and service improvements. * Analyzes their capabilities and performance, identifies problems, and takes corrective action. * Directs and makes operational adjustments to circuit equipment * Loads, maintains and secures cryptographic equipment * Experience developing, testing, implementing and maintaining communications operations contingency, exercise and restoral plans is desirable. * Performs circuit restoration, fault isolation, quality control testing, trend analysis, performance monitoring, and status reporting experience is highly desired. * Required Certs - DOD 8570 level II (Security +) * Required Clearance Secret Shift Hours: Day-Shift; core support hours are 0600 -1800. This is a 24/7/365 support environment; off-hours response/support may be required, however only standard M-F core hours working time for current position. Applicants may be required to show proof of a COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card to be eligible for employment at some work sites. A drug test is required.
