Position Title: Academic Scholar - Clinical Pediatrician, Ambulatory, Department of Pediatrics, Division ofPosting Number: U220033FTE: 0.00Position Summary: The Department of Pediatrics, University at Buffalo (UB), Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and John R. Oishei Childrens Hospital, Division of General Pediatrics is actively recruiting for a board certified/board eligible pediatrician to serve in an urban, community-based, general pediatric ambulatory practice. The Department is particularly interested in candidates who have strong interests in community partnerships, comprehensive primary care, and advocacy for underserved populations. The practice is a New York State certified Patient-Centered Medical Home and is a core ambulatory training site for pediatric residents and medical students. Ambulatory call duties and weekend newborn nursery coverage are shared equally with other faculty members of the division. The successful candidate will have a University appointment at the level of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor, commensurate with qualification.
