Security Architect

OverviewThis position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company. Acts as the Security Architect for all C4IM contract operations. Manages all architectures, activities, and services necessary to ensure uninterrupted Information Technology (IT) Networks Services, as defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Ensures all architectures are properly configured, operated, and maintained in a secure manner, in accordance with (IAW) the terms and conditions of the contract. Maximizes network reliability and uptime by maintaining secure networks within the established standards in this PWS and contract. Reports directly to the Operations Manager/Alternate Program Manager (OM/APM). ResponsibilitiesMajor Job Activities: Manages Security Architectures for all assigned Networks and Infrastructure. Responsible for Maintaining and Updating all C4IM hardware, software, and security architectures. Responsible for overseeing, improving and upgrading enterprise services, software and hardware. Works across multiple organizations to determine C4IM business needs and processes, and identifies the latest trends and technologies.Ensures Accurate and Responsive Data and Metrics Collection and Reporting. Material & Equipment Directly Used: Office computers, servers, networks, equipment, telephones, radios, Microsoft Office suite of tools, spreadsheets and database outputs and reporting, virtual data sharing platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, etc.) and other forms of remote worksharing tools. Working Enviornment: Primarily performed in an office environment, with work in virtual space, as well as operations centers, network/server rooms, and other datacenter environments. The Security Architect must be available between the hours of 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern time, Monday through Friday, except during lunch hour, federal holidays or when the government facility is closed for administrative reasons.Physical Activities: Must be able to sit, stand, and work at a computer for long periods of time. QualificationsMinimum Qualifications: Education / Certifications: 8570 IASE certified U.S. Citizen Secret Clearance Experience / Skills: Minimum of 7-years Experience in Architecture Frameworks Design, Hardware, Software, and Services to support C4IM Infrastructures. Experience in access control systems and methodology, business continuity planning and disaster recovery planning, physical security, operations, security, management practices, networking security, and telecommunications. Experience and understanding of cryptography, security architecture application and systems development, law, investigation, and ethics. Microsoft Office Suite of tools Microsoft Teams Requires strong communications, analytical skills, and experience with such tools and processes as SQL, data sourcing, enterprise data management, modeling, business strategy, auditing and compliance. Expertise in Cloud Computing, Information Security, System Architectures, Strategy Development and Enterprise Solutions. Supervisory / Budget Responsiblities: As the Security Architect, supervises all network configuration, design changes, upgrades, and future architectures. Reports directly to the OM/APM.
