Business Info Analyst

Job DescriptionResponsible for the overall support and management of WIS AUM (Assets Under Management) including reconciliation of book of business, global update management, book of business management, WIS rep management, data migration reconciliation, trailer reconciliation, ensure all account information is in Branchnet, and data integrity. Creating this position and aligning it under the Director of WIS is consistent with the business plan to specifically separate sales related reports and tools from the commissioning accounting function going forward. Liaison for LPL and CDR/MDM. Responsibilities include preparation of ad hoc requests for analysis, Rep Growth Plans, Quarterly Rep Evaluations, SOX testing. Responsible for occasional interface with Corporate Information Technology and others to provide specifications and for advanced reporting and technology system development as required by WIS.Work with Analytics and potentially the business to understand the business need and translate the need into analytical outcomesWork to understand the business asks then code, validates and transforms results into a business digestible tool (Tableau)Perform investigative techniques on the data to understand/resolve problems and issues related to creating new SAS reports.Ability to code and debug passthrough programs in SAS SQl or SAS EGo Includes understanding let statements to be able to change usernames and passwordsGeneral Programming skills needed in SAS, SQL and Snowflake- Pull data and transform it into analytical outcomes business insights, main tool is SAS, process of migrating to snowflake cloud environment. Understand coding.- Assist with backlog of requests- Collaborative environment, very fluid, everyone has specific assignments, but they get reprioritized almost daily.
