Job DescriptionCreate effective, usable and satisfying user experiences (UX) within Technology applications. Extend User Interface (UI) designs for development based on existing concepts, using established brand and design guidelines. Experience utilizing design systems.Ability to interpret product requirements documents from a user-centered perspective.Working knowledge of design fundamentals such as color theory, composition, branding, typography and web design standards.Experience prototyping in HTML / CSS and/or JavaScript.Experience with research planning, and conducting User testing labsResponsibilitiesCreate wire frames, design layouts and other project deliverables including design specs/layout requirements based on concepts and business requirements to illustrate the intended user experience. Delivery of the materials includes the authoring of Agile stories within JIRA. Assist with the execution of UX research capabilities, including competitive research reviews, heuristic reviews, surveys, click studies, card sorting, usability testing and others as assigned. Manage centralized UX research tools, insights repository, enablement guides, documentation, intake, and reporting; provide end-to-end participant coordination, including recruitment and compliance processesAssist with preparation of research materials including assessment of results and recommendations for next steps. Actively set meetings, agendas and keep the teams informed of research timelines, deliverables and final outcomes Document requirements and author stories based on design deliverables based on the requirements of the defined project process - Agile or Waterfall focused on enabling the efficient delivery and build of the front end of the application.Assist with creating test plans or authoring acceptance criteria including being responsible for the execution of user acceptance testing.Assist with the execution of UX research capabilities, including competitive research reviews, heuristic reviews, surveys, click studies, card sorting, usability testing and others as assigned.Required QualificationsBachelors degree or equivalent relevant work experience1- 3 years relevant experience Knowledge of user-centered design process, web best-practices and relevant disciplines, including information architecture, interaction and visual design.Strong written and verbal communications skills.Proficient prototyping and mockup skills to convey ideas and concepts.Experience working with industry standard visualization tools and software (e.g. Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, etc.).Working knowledge of design fundamentals such as color theory, composition, branding, typography and web design standards.
