F&B Manager

Managed by SMI Hotel Group, a growing hotel management company with upscale, full-service hotels in Virginia and Texas, the Four Points by Sheraton Richmond is looking for an experienced, motivated Food and Beverage Manager. The Four Points by Sheraton Richmond is a fully renovated 195 room property, located 10 miles south of downtown Richmond in the scenic Moorefield Business Park. The property features Fork & Vine, our restaurant and bar, as well as over 8,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space, accommodating groups from 5- 500. Job Description: The Food and Beverage Manager will assist the F&B Director in overseeing and directing all food and beverage operations. This includes over 8,000 sq. ft. of banquet space, restaurant and bar, to-go dining and on-premise market. Maintaining a profitable F&B Department while delivering high quality product and service levels are the primary goals. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Assist Director in managing daily operations of food and beverage department.• Assist in hiring, training and disciplining employees to achieve departmental objectives.• Ensure that staffs follow standard operating procedures for operational efficiency.• Ensure staff consistently adheres to health department guidelines and safety and sanitation programs.• Enforce standards for food and beverage quality.• Respond to guest concerns and recommend corrective actions.• Provide outstanding customer services and ensure customer satisfaction.• Implement operational strategies to ensure quality and productivity.• Ensure that facility is maintained clean, safe and organized.• Assist in inventory management and cost control activities while maintaining high quality.• During peak service hours maintain presence in front of house to guarantee quality guest experiences.Benefits: SMI Hotel Group recruits the best and brightest, to support our mission of delivering the highest quality service to our guests.
