Threat Analyst with Security Clearance

Overview Axient is seeking a Threat Analyst to join our team in Huntsville, AL. Responsibilities Description: * Support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Threat Systems Engineering Directorate * Candidate will be a member of a team supporting development of parametric target specifications and trajectory/RCS/IR signature envelopes encompassing intelligence assessments for Missile Defense System (MDS) design, test, and performance assessment * Support development of target requirements for MDS development efforts * Develop threat- and defense capability-related requirements for Flight Test events as well as MDS development efforts * Reviewing submitted requirements for completeness and technical accuracy * Analyze technical data to include Monte Carlo data from the Intelligence Centers and real-world data collections to benchmark target specifications * Integrate data products, perform quality control of products and support resolution of any identified issues Qualifications Requirements: * Bachelor''s degree * 7+ years experience of related experience * Active DoD Secret security clearance, which requires US Citizenship * Kinematics aptitude * Radar cross section experience * Understanding IR signatures * Strong written/oral communication skills * Experience with the MDA ground and/or flight testing * Ability to present data analysis results to various levels of personnel * Ability to decompose complex problems to actionable elements Desired Skills and Experience: * MATLAB proficiency is very desirable * MDA Experience Must meet applicable COVID safety requirements and protocols
