These products are primarily used for bundling, connecting, and managing/identifying wires, cables, and electrical systems in multiple global markets. Product families include cable ties, power and grounding connectors, terminals, wiring duct, cable accessories, printers, labels, and installation tools. This role is involved with product design improvements, root cause analysis and problem solving, product cost reduction, project management, and customer support.What You Will DoDevelop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgetsDevelop product design improvements including CAD design, prototyping, and design verificationCoordinate with Panduit global manufacturing operations and suppliers to execute product changes, process improvements, material changes, and cost reductionsIdentify and drive execution of product cost reduction opportunitiesResearch materials and technologies including polymers, metals, polymer filmsCoordinate compliance activities to ensure adherence to regulatory and standards requirementsDevelop and coordinate execution of product and reliability test plansLead and document development projects with adherence to a formal verification and validation processProvide customer support by responding to technical inquiries, addressing quality issues, and resolving product application questionsWhat You Will Bring Bachelor''s Degree in EngineeringA minimum of 5 years'' experience working in an Engineering role, preferably with Electrical componentsExperience with project plan development and executionExperience leading cross-functional teamsExperience with designing/troubleshooting complex electro-mechanical systemsExperience interacting with customers, suppliers, and manufacturing operationsExperience developing and executing product test plans and reportsStrong root cause analysis, data analysis, and problem-solving skillsExperience with new product development and/or product manufacturing is beneficial but not requiredKnowledge and experience with CAD design and drawing developmentSkilled in LEAN PrinciplesWe thank all those interested in joining the Panduit team; however only those that complete the online application and meet the minimum job qualifications will be considered for this role.Panduit is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
