Leasing Manager, SPARC Group

OverviewThe Leasing Manager is primarily responsible for leasing across all six brands -Aeropostale, Brooks Brothers, Eddie Bauer, Forever 21, Lucky, Nautica and Reebok. Additionally, they are responsible to work with Real Estate Analytics to ensure the real estate database is kept up to date, reviewing pro-forma models for accuracy, and providing analytical support to the real estate team and other departments.Responsibilities• Negotiate lease renewals, kickouts/terminations and rent reductions across brands.• Source and negotiate new store locations.• Ensure proformas developed by Real Estate Analytics are accurate.• Review data and provide analytic support within the real estate team and to outside departments.• Responsible for being the main point of contact with landlords for lease related issues.• Partner with Lease Administration to ensure they are provided deal terms for document review.• Ensure materials for Real Estate Committee are accurate and produced in a timely manner.• In conjunction with Lease Coordination, partner with cross functional teams (Construction, Legal, Store Operations, Finance and Merchandising) to ensure all facets of the business are aligned on store openings and closures.• Support the VP in presenting deals for Real Estate Committee as necessary.• Partner with Construction group by maintaining the real estate approved deal schedule to communicate effectively any changes or additions for the construction schedule.Qualifications• 1-3 years experience with lease review and negotiation• Computer proficient: MS Office skills with emphasis on Excel and Word. Experience with Lucernix or similar lease management system a plus.• Highly motivated, self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills• Must be able to multi-task and work within tight time frames• Strong interpersonal and project management skills mgr
