Windows Systems Administrator with Security Clearance

We''re looking for an experienced Windows administrator to help us maintain on premise and virtual networks for the Navy, while designing new, innovative solutions for enhanced domain functionality. As a Windows administrator on our project, your te chn ical skills will be critical as you assist with the design, implementation and documentation of Micro sof t Windows operating systems and asso cia ted te chn ology including virtualization, basic networking, application configuration, and integration with other data center infrastructure, including databases, SANs, and monitoring sof tware. You''ll help customers overcome tough challenges through monitoring and performance management. Your experience and communication skills will come in handy as you turn metrics into information and communicate their meaning. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely. Empower change with us. You Have: • 5+ years of experience with Windows server 2003, 2008, or 2012 platforms, including installation, configuration, patching, upgrading, troubleshooting, and incident response • 5+ years of experience with Windows Active Directory, including Group Policy Object ( GPO ) usage • Experience with supporting systems engineering planning, architectural analysis, trade analysis, systems design, and sustainment activities for customer systems • Knowledge of various database environments, including MS SQL Server 2008 R2, server environment, and Micro sof t SQL Server 2008 • Ability to implement, manage, and administrate Micro sof t IIS • Ability to maintain data center environmental and monitoring equipment • Secret clearance • CompTIA Sec+ Certification Nice If You Have: • Experience with supporting geographically dispersed NOCs • Micro sof t Certified Systems Engineer ( MCSE ) Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; Secret clearance is required.
