We are looking for reliable and proactive caregivers with great communication skills and the compassion and patience to care for seniors. This client is a 47 year old gentleman with special needs (fine & gross motor deficiency), who is recovering from cardiac issues. JOB DUTIES - We provide high quality care for seniors and high quality jobs for caregivers! • Companionship with social and mental engagement; provide respectful, friendly interactions. • Meal preparation. • Laundry & light housekeeping. • Personal care; assistance with showering/bathing, dressing, oral hygiene & incontinence care. • Client & personal safety; assistance with transfers from bed to wheelchair, wheelchair to recliner, etc. Re-positioning client every 2 hours to prevent bedsores, and assisting with range of motion exercises to support good blood flow. Knowing proper body mechanics to support your back and knowledge of home safety.• Medication Reminders.• Communicating and documenting the important events during your shifts.• Working with your peers and the client''s family members as a team to care for the client as a whole.
