What we offerMedical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceFlex SpendingHealth Savings401(k)Profit SharingPaid Time OffEmployee Assistance ProgramLife and Disability Insurance OptionsSUMMARY:The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the completion of all assigned contract jobs, including profit and loss responsibility for assigned work.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain contract documents throughout the life of the project and ensure changes from bulletins, addenda, etc. are addressed and processedCommunicate with site foreman to track change ordersProcess change orders in a timely fashion, to include regular follow-up with GC/CM for updatesCoordinate with Designer to submit RFIs when necessaryMaintain continual communications with and provide regular status updates to the GC/CMAttend weekly jobsite meetings, and communicate results with job designer as neededPerform weekly safety walkthroughs and site safety audits, and document completionEnsure completion of weekly toolbox talks, to include submission to the Safety ManagerCollect timesheets from field personnel to submit to Branch ManagerPerform monthly billing updates for all assigned contract jobsCoordinate with Designer to submit required job closeout documentationSubmit documentation and application for construction permits when requiredAssist in preparation of monthly WIP updates for assigned contract jobsAttend turnover meetings with sales and design personnel for new jobsOversee weekly project manpower requirements for schedulingMaterial/equipment ordering and oversight for jobs (as applicable between designer and shop coordinator)Maintain communications and coordination (including drawings and testing) with fire marshalSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:Supervises the field personnel working on their assigned jobsQUALIFICATIONS:Good oral, written and telephone communication skillsGood customer service skillsModerate to advanced computer skillsTime management, organizational and interpersonal skillsAbility to read and analyze building construction documentsGood mathematical skills with the ability to read, understand and create financial reportsEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:High School Diploma / GED requiredAssociates degree preferredKnowledge of CAD design preferredPrevious experience in the Project Management field, preferably in the Fire Protection industry, or equivalent combination of experience and schoolingCERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:Valid State Driver LicensePHYSICAL DEMANDS and WORK ENVIRONMENT:Office environment moderate noiseConstruction job sites moderate to heavy noise, uneven ground, subject to all types of weather, may be subject to heightsAbility to maneuver in restricted, poorly lit spacesAbility to lift up to 50 pounds at a timeLIMITATIONS and DISCLAIMER:All job requirements are subject to possible modification to reasonably accommodate individuals with disabilities.
