Learn more about Splunk careers and how you can become a part of our journey!RoleAs Sr. Technical Product Manager, Customer Portal you will play a key role within the Go-to-Market Operations IT team at Splunk. This includes working closely with leadership and internal customers as we transform our go-to-market capabilities. Working cross functionally with a broad set of business partners, you will use keen business process understanding, appreciation for simplicity and quality, critical thinking, and a bit of elbow grease to define holistic solutions that meet business and technology objectives while furthering Splunks long range goals.You will be part of the core team that is responsible for designing, building and maintaining the next generation of the Splunk Customer Portal - a single point of access for all authenticated end customer experiences leveraging the Salesforce platform. In this extremely high visibility role, you will partner with the business stakeholders to understand the organizational GTM strategies, listen and observe business needs and develop a comprehensive technical roadmap.You will ideate in problem solving through research and development, experimentation and prototyping to build new features and capabilities that enable self-service and transparency across the customer journey.Responsibilities:Drive technically complex projects for the CRM and be responsible for turning that complexity into a simple user experienceRepresent the team with cross functional partners and senior leaders as you gain alignment around your Customer Portal product vision and roadmapPartner with Program and Portfolio Managers to track short and long term milestones, manage changes and mitigate risksCollaborate with a wide range of stakeholders and establish a strong feedback loopShare your Salesforce expertise as you make business process and system recommendations based on industry trends, leading practices and technical considerationsMake tough, data-driven prioritization decisions in order to deliver the highest value enhancementsExercise creativity and a sense of disruption in order to craft a next-generation customer experienceEstablish a strong set of KPIs and success metrics to objectively measure our successWork closely with Solutions Architects, Developers, Business System Analysts and others to identify dependencies, evaluate technical tradeoffs and design creative solutionsMake use of diagrams, flow charts, demos and POCs to help explain complex technical designs or issues to stakeholders who may have minimal technical knowledgeRequirements:7+ years of experience designing and supporting large scale, technically complex solutions on the Salesforce platformUnderstanding of B2B processes and Cloud (SaaS) offeringsExperience with SDLC and Agile methodologiesAnalytical skills to set up and interpret logic, data tables, and rule relationshipsBachelor''s degree in Business, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields required. MBA or equivalent work experience desired.We value diversity at our company.
