TITLE: *Overhead Crane and Hoist Service Technician*LOCATION: 50% based in Greenville, SC and 50% travel to regional sitesTYPE: Full-time, direct hireSHIFT: Day / Weekends / Emergency Break DownsPAY: $23-$30 an hour with OTRequirements for the Overhead Crane and Hoist Service Technician* HS Diploma* 5+ years of related experience. Industrial electric experience is a must.* Hoist / Crane certified (REQUIRED)* Knowledge of PLCs and high voltage motors.* Must have a valid driver''s license* Must be able to pass drug test and background screeningsPosition Summary as Overhead Crane and Hoist Service TechnicianThis field service technician will provide quality installation, inspections, maintenance and repair services for hoist & crane equipment. This field service technician will also uphold the highest level of professional integrity and ethics as required to instill customer confidence & continued success in service. Travel is a must.Your Tasks as Overhead Crane and Hoist Service Technician* Troubleshoot, repair & inspect overhead cranes & hoists.* Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities on equipment.* Support customers by effectively interfacing with customer & office in repairing equipment as needed.* Evaluate & make recommendations regarding required repairs for customers.* Maintain rapport with customers by examining complaints, identifying solutions, suggesting improved methods & techniques, and recommending system improvements.* Service overhead crane systems by performing quality installations, performing OSHA/ANSI equivalent inspections, documenting and completing warranty work, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventive maintenance, and responding to repair calls.* Document service & installation actions by completing forms, reports, and inspection checklist.* Builds & maintains customer confidence by maintaining good response time, informing customer of problems, and completing the job in a timely manner.* Maintain professional presentation, timeliness, appearance, & organization in all areas.* Must have electrical experience and be able to troubleshoot electrical problems.CPAJob Type: Full-timePay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hourBenefits:* 401(k)* Health insurance* Paid time offSchedule:* Monday to FridayEducation:* High school or equivalent (Required)Experience:* Industrial electrician: 1 year (Required)* hoist and crane repair: 1 year (Required)* Programmable logic controllers (PLC): 1 year (Required)Willingness to travel:* 50% (Required)Work Location: On the road
