Job Description:On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Project managerJob Responsibilities: Manage software development and modernization projects Responsible for refining usage of Agile values and best practices, ensuring the practical use of Agile processes. Devise an Agile-based strategy to improve time and cost efficiencies for the project(s) Serve as the primary interface to client stakeholders and manages a team of resources Develop and maintain project plans utilizing Microsoft Project. Along with the Business Analyst and Sr. Architect, leads meetings with project sponsors, collects and documents requirements into the formalized requirements document. Assist in the creation and review of project-related design, implementation, testing, and users guide Develop project cost estimates and manage project budgets. Participate in peer code reviews. Ensure the generation of high-quality work products on-time delivery, and under budget. RequirementsJob Requirements: Bachelor''s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline is required. A minimum of 7 years of experience managing software development teams of at least 10 resources. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a customer-facing Project Manager. Experience managing development projects that utilize business process workflows One or more of the following certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional), PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner), SAFe Scrum Master, CSM (Certified Scrum Master), Certified Agile Leader Advanced Practitioner Skilled in using MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and Excel for tracking and presenting project metrics and status Excellent people skills - and ability to empathize with clients and a genuine desire to solve their technical problems Ability to lead through influence; negotiate and gain consensus between clients and team Able to manage urgent deliverables and issues methodically in a calm manner Impeccable interpersonal skills - demonstrates a gentle touch with clients, team, and executive management. A resourceful, true self-starter, can-do attitude, leader Desired Qualifications: Experience supporting cloud technologies Knowledge of associated Agile tools such as JIRA is strongly preferred Experience working in a government client environment is strongly preferred Knowledge and experience managing projects implementing low code BPM solutions (Appian)
