Pine Rest Christian Mental Health services is looking for a highly qualified Staff Psychiatrist interested in joining a medical staff of over 80 collegial psychiatrists to provide outpatient psychiatric services for adult patients in our Christian Counseling Center. Duties may include clinical evaluations and medication follow-up visits with corresponding and timely documentation; supervision of Advanced Practice Professionals (if mutually agreed upon); and strong citizenship as a Staff Psychiatrist within the Pine Rest system (including mission acceptance, department meetings, clinical medical staff meetings, medical staff committee meetings, and adherence to all applicable bylaws and State of Michigan medical licensing regulations).Typical work day is from 8:00AM to 5:00PM with 1 hour for lunch and 1 hour of administrative time. Provide treatment, evaluations, medication reviews and other treatment services as required for outpatient patients. Provide availability for calls about patients after-hours and on holidays/weekends/absences unless employee has provided coverage.What Will You Do?Within the framework of the organization is responsible to be a professional caregiver who provides assessment, counseling, treatment and gives referrals and advocacy services for people served. The Psychiatrist is also responsible for upholding the highest quality care, keeping with all standards and bylaws set by government agencies as well as Pine Rest and client hospital/agency.
