Find your future with us.We are seeking a Facilities Engineering Manager (Level K) to join our Facilities and Asset Management Engineering and Technology organization. You will be located in Everett, Washington. You will lead a team of facilities plant engineers composed of architects, civil/structural, mechanical, electrical, and technical designers in support of building and infrastructure maintenance activities, construction projects, asset condition assessments, and Long Range Business Planning development. This role will involve strategic collaboration with other facilities groups, Boeing Business Partners, and external suppliers, contractors, and vendors.Position Responsibilities: Manages employees performing activities related to infrastructure planning, design, analysis, improvement of construction projects and maintenance operationsDevelops and completes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goalsAcquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvementsDevelops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, collaborators, peers, partners and employeesProvides guidance and approval of technical approaches, products and processesParticipates in equipment make/buy decisions; participates in source selection and provides technical oversight of suppliersLeads, develops and motivates employeesThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor''s degree or higher3+ years of experience leading technical teams and/or initiatives1+ year of experience with team building, developing and motivating employees1+ year of experience coordinating across engineering disciplinesPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Degree in Engineering or technical discipline3+ years of experience with technical project management3+ years of experience in large construction projects, facilities management and/or large project management3+ years of experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment3+ years of experience executing strategies that drive employee engagement and inclusion1+ year of experience using Maximo or other Computerized Maintenance Software SystemsExperience with Revit or comparable BIM software, utilizing basic tools such as: work sets, schedules, views, clash detection and family creationRelocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.Drug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Shift: This position is for 1st shift.Equal Opportunity Employer:Boeing is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
