RoleThis position is for a Software Innovations Product Management role. This is an exciting new role that will define the next generation innovations across applications and cloud services.We are seeking a Software Product Management that will drive the innovations pipeline and will manage the innovation Proof-Of-Concepts (POC) programs to create differentiated solutions that will drive value for our customers.What You''ll DoIn this role, you are chartered with managing the innovation process, identifying key innovative ideas, and conducting market research to determine the competitive advantages of those ideasWork with other stakeholders to identify and advance innovation ideasYou will define or assist in defining the POC requirements of new ideas and push them through the innovation processYou will work with development teams to deliver POCs on time and within budgetYou will Identify startups/companies as potential collaborators of proposed solutionsValidate POCs, as well as existing solutionsPerform low-level integration of various solution to create POCDemonstrate solutions to stakeholders You will evaluate and compare different models and architecture, their performance, and other aspects (e.g., cost functions)You will define new and optimize existing training pipelines, including tools for debugging and testingYou will develop running time POC apps to demonstrate CV&AI technology to stakeholdersYou will support dataset collection efforts and work on dataset augmentation Basic Qualifications:Bachelor''s or master''s degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent real-world experienceStrong analytical skills and ability to evaluate a mix of quantitative and qualitative dataStrong written and verbal communication skillsGood knowledge of latest software technologiesDemonstrate the ability to apply data structure & algorithm knowledge to solve computational problemsGood understanding of machine learning/deep learning (convolutional neural networks)Preferred Qualifications:Experience with an object-oriented programming language such as C/C++ or PythonExperience with IDEs such as Visual Studio (C/C++), PyCharm (Python), or comparable environmentsExperience with typical deep learning APIs such as TensorFlow or PyTorch is advantageousWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any federal, state, or local protected class.Lenovo adopted a COVID-19 Vaccination Policy for US-based employees.
