11739BRJob ID:11739BRExciting Challenges:Broad Function and Purpose of Position: This Product Manager will be responsible for the management of the product development of the technical mortars and Grouts, for Target Market RSB. In addition, to the various Product Management duties noted below, this position will provide technical support to the sales and marketing departments. The position resides in Lyndhurst NJ and reports to the Vice President of Target Market RSB. Specific Responsibilities: Responsible to analyze the product line on ongoing basis and maintain an optimal range of products Responsible for the accuracy of all product literature and electronic media Manage communications with Sales, R&D, Operations, Administration, and others to insure product inventory levels and supply Management of PDP, PMP and Trading product process Develop methods and documentation to support the marketing and sales strategy Working with Senior Management, establish product and system development priorities Support and participate in the Expert Team Coordinate and conduct field trials Prepare thorough and well documented PIP for Expert Team Benchmark Sika products against key competitors Manage new product launches to the Sika sales force and to our external customers Follow all company and environmental policies Performs other projects and activities as assigned Represent Sika in Industry associations some of which may include ACI , ICRI etc.Job Title:Product Manager- Mortars & GroutsCountry:United States of AmericaLocation:Lyndhurst, NJ Job Category:Engineering (Structural & Civil / Mechanical / Materials)Picture employer branding: Building Trust Every Day:Competitive Benefits: Health Insurance, 401k with company match, year-end profit-sharing bonus, paid time off, and paid holidays.Meaningful Work: Sika products enhance our surroundings and the work every employee completes helps positively impact daily lives by making our world stronger, more durable, and more reliable every day. We are committed to fostering, cultivating, and preserving a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.Skills you`ll need: Bachelors Degree in Engineering Minimum 5 years of product management experience in a similar industry, ideally Technical Mortars and Grouts or building materials Previous experience in technical product marketing and the development of sales and marketing strategies Ability to structure complex technical information into concise customer focused messages, and to be able to communicate feature/benefits/value proposition to differentiate Sika from competition Previous experience in value added and consultative selling Previous experience with achieving compliance to regulatory requirements and industry standards (LEED, ASTM, VOC Regulations, etc.)Skills and Abilities: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Advanced technical knowledge of construction products Able to work with diverse customer groups (architects, engineers, consultants, contractors and owners) in different settings (field and office) Excellent problem solving and negotiation skills Ability to travel nationally via airplane, car and train, including overnight travel Proficient computer literacy (in particular Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Lotus Notes) Valid drivers license in good standing
